Guard Dwyane Wade is a three-time NBA champion and a legend at Marquette, where he played from 2000-2003 and led the Golden Eagles to the Final Four. Wade clearly still has a lot of love for his alma mater—he has a Marquette basketball court at his home in South Beach, and according to an Instagram post last night, hopes that his son will follow in his footsteps and play for the school.
Wade was a first-team All-American in 2003 and has his jersey retired at Marquette. It may be just a hunch, but we’re pretty sure the Golden Eagles would love to have another Wade or two on the team in a few years.
