The Kentucky Wildcats might take on a different identity this season than most, but their winning ways remain the same. Yet, if the No. 9 team in the country wants to prove they are better than their current ranking, then dominating the Citi Hoops Classic needs to be on the agenda.
With the bright lights of Madison Square Garden ready to shine tomorrow, the Wildcats will face the Seton Hall Pirates.
Out of all the talented players that will share the hardwood on Saturday, the best matchup to watch will be between Keldon Johnson and Myles Powell.
Johnson is averaging 15.9 points per game for Kentucky, meanwhile Powell is averaging 22.4 points per contest for Seton Hall.
Big opportunity tomorrow in the Big 🍎 but we can't worry about that right now. At this point in the season, it's still about the basics.

Seton Hall currently owns a 5-3 record, and defeating Kentucky would be the ultimate confidence boost for the program.
For the Wildcats, they have to stay focused with the task at hand. Even though an eventual showdown with North Carolina this month is intriguing, making a statement against the Pirates needs to be a priority.
Tipoff is set for 12:00 p.m. ET from MSG.
The game will be on FOX, with Gus Johnson and Jim Jackson on the call.
