The Xavier Musketeers, out of the Big East conference, are the 2-seed in the East region of this year's NCAA Tournament bracket. Xavier, sporting a 27-5 record, finished second in league play before bowing out in the semifinals of its postseason tournament. Xavier will get started with a contest against 15-seed Weber State, winners of the Big Sky conference tournament.

Weber State knocked off Montana to earn the league's auto-bid. The Wildcats finished the year with a 26-8 mark.

Date: Friday, March 18

Time: 9:20 PM ET Approx

TV Channel: TNT

Location: St. Louis

Announcers: Anderson/Smith/Jacobson

Opening Betting Line: TBD

Prediction: Xavier is one of the most balanced teams in the country, as the Musketeers boast six different players who score at least nine points per game. Weber State, meanwhile, relies on Jeremy Senglin and Joel Bolomboy for the majority of its offensive production.

This is a trickier game than people realize, but we'll still go with Xavier. Expect some to see this as an upset special, given Xavier's lack of notoriety.

We'll take Xavier by 7.
