It’s quite fitting that Mississippi State and Iowa will face each other in the Outback Bowl, as both programs went through very inconsistent seasons.
The Bulldogs rely heavily on quarterback Nick Fitzgerald, meanwhile the Hawkeyes need Nathan Stanley to perform well for their offense to click. However, this game could be tough with Iowa’s tight end Noah Fant sitting out in preparation for the 2019 NFL Draft.
