Bob Knight Has No Interest In Returning To Indiana University

Former Indiana basketball head coach Bob Knight didn't mince words when speaking about Indiana's past administration.

If any Indiana fans were hoping Bob Knight would make a return to the university, today pretty much confirmed the reunion won't happen any time soon. On Friday, Knight went on the Dan Patrick Show and blasted the past administration, basically wishing death upon everyone responsible for his firing. I'm not exaggerating.

Just listen:

Here's a transcript of the brutal comments, via Indy Star:

“Well, I think I’ve always really enjoyed the fans, I always will,” Knight said. “On my dying day, I will think about how great the fans at Indiana were. And as far as the hierarchy at Indiana University at that time, I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for those people. With that in mind, I have no interest in ever going back to that university.”

Patrick followed up: “Aren’t those people all out of there coach?”

Knight: “I hope they’re all dead.”

Patrick: “Some of them are…”

Knight: “Well, I hope the rest of them go.”

Goodness. Fans would go absolutely bonkers if he made a return, but it doesn't look like that'll ever happen.
