Anyone who watched last week's Indiana vs. Ohio State game learned who Hoosier wide receiver Simmie Cobbs is. He just scored a fantastic touchdown against Virginia.
Cobbs caught 11 passes for 149 yards and a score against the Buckeyes last week. After missing the 2016 season, he picked up where he left off.
In 2015, Cobbs caught 60 balls for 1,035 yards and four scores for the Hoosiers.
This afternoon, he's right back at it in Charlottesville against Virginia. Cobbs scored IU's first touchdown of the day, a five yard in-route over the middle that he took 26 yards to the end zone, leaving half of the Cavaliers defense in his wake.
Cobbs leads the way with two catches for 33 yards and the touchdown. After trailing 3-0, Indiana has rattled off 17 unanswered points. The game is currently at the half.
