It's unclear if Simmie Cobbs will play in the Hoosiers' opener.
Indiana is set to take on Ohio State next Thursday in their season opener, but unfortunately the Hoosiers might not be at full strength.
According to the Indianapolis Star, head coach Tom Allen has yet to make a decision on whether Simmie Cobbs will be available for the matchup versus the Buckeyes.
“No decision has been made yet,” Allen told the Indianapolis Star. “Still looking at all of that.”
The possible suspension stems from an incident over the summer that took place at a Jason Aldean concert. Cobbs was arrested on charges that included failure to identify, resisting law enforcement and public intoxication.
Cobbs led the Hoosiers with 60 receptions for over 1,000 yards in 2015, and was expected to have a breakout campaign last season, but he tore his ACL in the season opener versus FIU.
