The Indiana Hoosiers got a lot out of the talented team that Tom Crean has assembled, winning the Big Ten regular season and making the Sweet 16 before falling to UNC when the Tar Heels couldn’t miss a shot. There will be big expectations for the Hoosiers in 2016-17, especially now that one of the team’s top players will reportedly return. Forward Thomas Bryant, a former blue-chip recruit who averaged 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season, is expected back next season.

The fact that Bryant won’t even test the waters without signing an agent seems a bit surprising, but this is huge news for Indiana basketball.
