4-Star Iowa Commit Eno Benjamin, Texas Native, Bashes Texas Schools On Twitter

Wylie (Tex.) four-star running back Eno Benjamin had been high on Iowa for some time and finally committed to the Hawkeyes on Apr. 18. He chose Iowa over more than two dozen offers, including ones from in-state programs Baylor, Houston and Texas Tech.

Benjamin did not have offers from Texas, Texas A&M and TCU. We're not sure if he was addressing these three programs last night when he unleashed a string of tweets criticizing the recruiting practices of Texas schools.

Benjamin said the unnamed Texas schools take it for granted that they have an advantage for in-state recruits, while out-of-state programs are grinding to get these players and are actually succeeding.

Well, this is another topic to add to the Texas football conversation today, along with the ongoing saga of Johnny Manziel and last night's Texas A&M social media mayhem.
