After reopening his recruitment last week, the wide receiver verbally committed to Iowa football.
Iowa football and Hawkeyes fans around the country can rejoice as they've picked up another sought-after recruit in Beau Corrales.
After initially committing to Texas State and receiving a competing offer from Indiana, the 6-foot-4 wide receiver from Georgetown High School (TX) finally made his decision. He took to Twitter to share with his followers and Hawkeye Nation.
Eno Benjamin, a fellow Texas star and Iowa recruit, also took to Twitter to congratulate Corrales.
Corrales told HawkeyeNation, "It’s a blessing and it’s a dream come true. I’m so excited and I’m so proud to be able to say I’m a Hawkeye. I’m just grateful for the opportunity because it’s been a long time coming and it’s been a dream (to play major college football) since I was a little kid."
Corrales is the 17th commitment for Iowa's 2017 class.
