Fran McCaffery Suspended For 'Fran McCaffery Bobblehead Day' Following Tirade

Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery has been suspended for one game following his meltdown during a game against Wisconsin this weekend. According to Rob Dauster at CollegeBasketballTalk, McCaffery also faces a $10,000 fine, on top of the in-game penalties that cost his team a number of easy points against the undefeated Badgers. However, the worst part of this punishment for McCaffery is the timing:
Missing a game due to suspension is bad by itself, but missing your own bobblehead day? That's rough. Hopefully McCaffery will think more about these repercussions next time he bumps an official.
