Iowa Announces It'll Face Colorado State During 2021 Season

Iowa has added a new non-conference opponent for 2021.

Friday, Iowa announced that it's added a non-conference opponent for the 2021 season. The Hawkeyes will be taking on Colorado State on September 25.

Iowa opens the 2021 season with a Big Ten Conference game, hosting Indiana on Sept. 4. The Hawkeyes then travel to Iowa State the following weekend. A third nonconference opponent is needed to complete the 12-game schedule before the Hawkeyes close nonconference play against Colorado State. The two programs have not met on the football field.

Iowa now just needs one more opponent to fill out its 2021 campaign. Here's how it looks at the moment:
