The Iowa Hawkeyes return to the court this Thursday against the No. 6 Michigan State Spartans.

Iowa is on a five-game winning streak after beating Illinois this past weekend, and has now risen to No. 19 in the polls.

Ahead of the game against the Spartans at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Iowa has revealed that the team will be wearing a different jersey against the Big Ten titans.

Per an announcement from the Iowa Basketball Twitter account, the Hawkeyes will be wearing their gray alternate jerseys on Thursday night.

Thursday's game will be a rematch of Iowa's December 3, 2018 match against Michigan State at Breslin Center.

The Hawkeyes suffered their worst blowout of the season, giving up a season-high 90 points and losing by 22 points.

Fortunately for Iowa, the team was able to rebound quickly, winning 10 of their next 11 games including seven straight home games.

With a 16-3 record, Iowa has the third best overall record in the Big Ten conference. However, its 5-3 conference record is just fifth in the league.

Michigan State, on the other hand, is the only remaining Big Ten team with an undefeated conference record.

The Spartans have not lost a game since an overtime loss to Louisville back in November. Since then, they have reeled off 12 straight wins, most recently against No. 13 Maryland this past Monday.
