Iowa basketball extended its winning streak with a victory at Rutgers, as expected. What wasn't expected: how the Hawkeyes came up with the 'W.'
The No. 21 Hawkeyes looked to be facing a loss, after a three by Rutgers star Geo Baker put the Scarlet Knights up 69-68, with three seconds left. He drilled a shot from the top of the arc, with some help from a friendly backboard.
Unfortunately for RU, the 3.3 left on the clock was too much time for Iowa. Iowa threw a long baseball pass across the court, which somehow wound up in Joe Wieskamp's hands in the corner.
He chucked it up, catching the backboard at the perfect angle to bank in a three for the two-point win.

You rarely see this much pandemonium at a Big Ten game in February, with one team well out of NCAA Tournament contention.
For this finish, it was warranted, though.
Iowa is now 20-5 on the year, and riding a four-game winning streak in Big Ten play. Rutgers falls under .500, to 12-13.
Wieskamp, the Hawkeye hero, finished with nine points. That shot was his first made three.
Jordan Bohannon led all scorers with 18 points for Iowa. Ron Harper Jr. paced the Scarlet Knights with 19.
