Iowa landed a cornerback recruit for the class of 2019 on Monday afternoon.
The Iowa Hawkeyes got some solid recruiting news on Monday. Three-star cornerback recruit Larry Tracy, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound player from Indianapolis, Indiana, announced his commitment to play for Kirk Ferentz & Co. on Twitter.
Tracy had five offers - Iowa, Indiana, Syracuse, Bowling Green and Northern Illinois. He's a 2019 recruit though - so he probably will have more when it's all said and done.
Tracy posted a nice note along with his commitment:
"First off, I want to thank God for all that he has given me. I want to thank my family for always supporting me no matter what. A major thanks to my dad, who spent a lot of hours with me on and off the football field, I couldn't ask for a better man to guide me through life and on this journey. I want to thank every coach in my life that has helped me out. This has been a dream of mine since I started playing football. It feels so unreal to be in the position that I am in today. I would like to thank every college coach for recruiting me and extending me a chance to play for their great University.. but at this moment I would like to commit to
THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA #swarm19 #hawkeyes"

Tracy is Iowa's third commitment for the 2019 season, per 247 Sports.
