Iowa Lands Commitment From 3-Star WR Calvin Lockett

Lockett took to Twitter to make his Iowa commitment official.

Iowa added another talented recruit to its 2018 class.

Late Wednesday night, 3-star wide receiver Calvin Lockett announced his commitment to Iowa on Twitter. In the post, he thanked his friends and family for their support.

Lockett is the No. 136 ranked wide receiver in the 2018 class, per 247 Sports.

Lockett, a Florida native had competing offers from several big-name schools, including FAU, Indiana, Kentucky, Syracuse and Wisconsin—among others.

With Lockett's commitment, the Hawkeyes boast the No. 38 ranked recruiting class in the nation.
