Iowa Lands Commitment From 4-Star DE John Waggoner

Waggoner took to Twitter to announce his commitment to the Hawkeyes.

Iowa just added another top prospect to its 2018 recruiting class.

On Tuesday afternoon, 4-star defensive end John Waggoner announced his commitment to Iowa via Twitter.

Waggoner is the No. 20 ranked defensive end in the 2018 class, and he's the top-ranked recruit in Iowa's 2018 class, per 247 Sports.

According 247 Sports, Waggoner also had competing offers from several other top schools, including Minnesota, Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State and Oklahoma.

With his commitment, Iowa boasts the No. 8 ranked class in the Big Ten. Waggoner is commit No. 15 for the Hawkeyes.
