Fans of Iowa football got some encouraging news on Saturday morning.
According to a report by Iowa announcer Gary Dolphin, the Hawkeyes will be returning safety Brandon Snyder to the lineup Saturday morning against Illinois.
Why is that a big deal? Because Snyder tore the ACL in his left knee during spring practice - just six months ago. It's an incredible recovery.
Snyder was cleared to return within the last week.
Iowa and Illinois will kick off Saturday at Noon ET. It'll be a historic moment for Snyder.
