Iowa basketball is riding a four-game winning streak, after surviving a trip to pesky Rutgers with one of the craziest banked-in buzzer beaters you'll ever see. The latest AP poll has the Hawkeyes at No. 21.

Tonight, the Hawkeyes are back in Iowa City for a Top 25 Big Ten battle. No. 24 Maryland will look to get back in the win column after a 13-point loss at Michigan.

This is the first and only match-up between the two conference foes this season. The Terrapins captured the only game between the two last season.

Freshman guard Joe Wieskamp was the hero for Iowa on Saturday.

He had his lowest scoring output in four games, finishing with nine points. He was the one to take the long baseball pass and hit the banked in three from the corner to sink the Scarlet Knights at the buzzer, though.

Jordan Bohannon was among the best Hawkeyes throughout the game, and is riding a hot streak. The junior, averaging over 11 points per game, is scoring 19.3 per night over the last three games.

Maryland is led by guard Anthony Cowan Jr., who leads the team with 15.8 points per game, followed by double-double machine Bruno Fernando (14.5 points, 10.6 rebounds). He's finished with a double-double in 16 games this year.

Iowa vs. Maryland basketball tips off at 8:00 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network.

Dave Revsine and Robbie Hummel are on the call for tonight's action.
