Iowa football has had a busy recruiting week. The Hawkeyes reeled in a trio of new commitments.

It all started with Stilwell (Kan.) Blue Valley three-star offensive lineman Mason Richman, who pledged to Iowa last Wednesday. He was joined on Friday by Marshall (Minn. three-star defensive end Yahya Black.

Finally, on Sunday, Largo (Fla.) three-star wide receiver Quavon Matthews joined the fold. That makes 13 verbals for the Hawkeyes in the 2020 class.

Currently, Iowa's 2020 class ranks second in the Big Ten and 20th nationally. It is led by a pair of four-stars, defensive end Logan Jones and quarterback Deuce Hogan.

Ohio State is the only Big Ten program ranked ahead of the Hawkeyes. The Buckeyes rank seventh nationally.
