Video: Iowa State Fan Carson King Does The Wave At Iowa

Iowa fans do the "Iowa Wave" at Kinnick Stadium.

Carson King was simply asking for beer money on live television. As the unexpected donations started to roll in, King decided to use the donations for a much better cause.

The Iowa State fan pledged every penny would go to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. As more and more money has come in, Busch Light is matching each and every contribution. As of Sep. 27, King says the donations have raised over $2 million.

During every home game, Iowa fans spend time waving to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital and its patients. It's become one of the best traditions in all of sports.

On Saturday, King — despite being an Iowa State fan — attended the Iowa-Middle Tennessee contest. And in doing so, took part in waving to the hospital and its young patients — the same hospital which will receive the donations King has raised.

Such a special moment and tribute. And what a great story during this college football season.

Here's another angle of King's wave to the patients.

Without a doubt, King is a hero. His unselfish act will help so many people.

This will go down as one of the best stories in college football history. And hopefully, the donations will continue to roll in.
