Maryland's Isaiah Davis Suspended After Hit On Penn State's Kicker Joey Julius

Isaiah Davis has been suspended after his hit on Penn State's kicker Joey Julius this past Saturday, per report.

Two weeks ago, Penn State kicker Joey Julius was cheap-shotted by a Minnesota player after a kickoff which led to an ejection. This past Saturday, Julius drew another big hit, this one from Maryland's Isaiah Davis, who was also ejected from the contest.

Terrapins head coach DJ Durkin has announced that Davis has been suspended one game for his hit on Julius.

Julius, who is listed as 271 pounds, has shown this season that he can lay the wood as well, as Michigan's Jourdan Lewis can attest to.

The Nittany Lions were able to knock off the Terrapins on Saturday by the final score of 38-14.

Penn State's next contest comes against Ohio State on Oct. 22 while Maryland welcomes Minnesota to town this Saturday.

Whether it is due to the fact that Julius can throw a hit or that he's just a player that causes a lot of attention, the kicker has surely drawn plenty of attention this season.
