Michigan State QB Connor Cook Leaves Game vs. Maryland With Apparent Shoulder Injury

Update: Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook has again returned to the football game for the Spartans.

Earlier: Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook left Saturday's game against Maryland with an apparent shoulder injury after taking a hard shot from a Terrapins defender.

Cook spent time on the sidelines attempting to throw a football, but is now working with trainers.

Cook was replaced by backup Tyler O'Connor during the second possession of the game, who immediately led the Spartans to a 10-play touchdown drive. 

Cook returned to the game during MSU's following possession, but that's when the injury occurred.
