UVA's Dean Of Students Tweets, Then Deletes Shot At Maryland For Leaving The ACC

The Maryland Terrapins, a founding member of the ACC back in 1953, are officially headed to the Big Ten in less than one month's time. Unsurprisingly, some of their soon-to-be-former colleagues still aren't thrilled about it. Last night, after the Virginia Cavaliers knocked off Maryland in the NCAA Super Regional to earn their third College World Series berth in six years, the school's Dean of Students, Allen Groves, got a little feisty on Twitter. He later deleted the tweet.

He apparently thought the game's result was a proper sendoff.

Groves will probably get a few looks from his administration for the tweet, but you can bet the students loved it. What do you think - was it out of line?
