Video: Maryland Knocks Off No. 5 UVA In Final ACC Home Game, Fans Rush Court

Maryland fans were ready to storm the court at the end of regulation against No. 5 Virginia. Due to one of the crazier finishes we've seen in a college basketball game this season, they had to wait an extra five minutes to celebrate.

The Terps, in the end, were able to knock off the ACC regular season champs, ending their 61-year tenure in the conference with a big-time home victory. Virginia was able to tie the game with .5 seconds to go in regulation after Mark Turgeon chose to foul up three points, but MD was able to gather itself and pull away in overtime. Of course, Maryland fans rushed the court to celebrate.

Virginia will still be the ACC's No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament. Maryland's victory got the Terrapins to a .500 record at 9-9 in the league.
