If you can play football or baseball in the Big Ten, you must be pretty good. If you can play both, that's even more impressive.

This afternoon, three-star defensive end Adam Berghorst announced his commitment to Michigan State. Berghorst is a two-way lineman for Zeeland (Mich.) East.

He's also a two-sport star. Berghorst is a standout pitcher at Zeeland, and he'll have the opportunity to play both sports in East Lansing.

He shouted out both schools in his commitment announcement on Twitter.

As a football player, Berghorst is the No. 14 player in the state of Michigan according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He's also the 35th-ranked strong-side defensive end in the nation.

Berghorst was offered by Boston College, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Purdue and others for football. He's clearly a quality prospect on the gridiron.

Now we'll have to see whether his future ultimately lies there or on the baseball diamond.

Here's a look at Michigan State football's current recruiting class.
