Michigan State's season didn't end the way that Spartans fans had hoped it would, but there's no doubt that the team still accomplished a great deal in 2015-2016. MSU finished 13-5 in the Big Ten - good enough for second place - before taking home the league's tournament title. They also finished the regular season with the No. 2 ranking in the country.
Senior star Denzel Valentine, one of the most beloved players in school history (both by fans and head coach Tom Izzo) took to Instagram Saturday morning to reflect on the past four years. In the note, he expresses that while this isn't how he wanted to finish his college career, he has no regrets. He also thanked Spartan Nation for their support over the years.
Valentine, one of the most polished prospects this year, is projected to be drafted in the middle of the first round in this year's NBA Draft.
