Draymond Green, former Michigan State star and current Golden State Warrior, was arrested this past Sunday morning for alleged assault after getting into a confrontation with a heckler. Tuesday, for the first time, he addressed the incident in public.
Green, at Fortune's Brainstorm Tech conference, said that his legal team is handling the situation. He said this is something he'll learn from.
"I think when things happen, I think you meet them head on. My legal team is handling it. It will be resolved really quickly. As a public figure, I just can't put myself in certain situations. It's something that I'll learn from and just move on."
Jimmy Durkin of the Bay Area News Group was on the scene.
