Story: In one of the biggest games ever held at the Breslin Center, the Spartans seemed to crack under the pressure against No.1 Indiana. Although the game continued to remain close until the end, the Spartans missed key free throws and made mental mistakes on both sides of the court.
Like many other games played throughout the Big Ten, this game came down to the final two minutes. Michigan State had an advantage with a 67-63 lead over the Hoosiers with 1:37 left to play, but big shots by Christian Watford and Victor Oladipo gave the Hoosiers the lead back. MSU's Gary Harris had three free throw attempts to tie the game, but missed two, sending the Spartans faithful home empty-handed. MSU is now in second place in the Big Ten.
