Michigan State has added an in-state quarterback to its 2018 recruiting class: three-star La'Darius Jefferson.

Jefferson, a Muskegon native, is the No. 1372 recruit in the class, per 247Sports.

The site has him No. 36 among dual-threat QBs, and No. 30 in the state of Michigan.

Today, he announced his commitment to the Spartans.

Michigan State came through with an offer on November 10. Jefferson decommitted from UCF three days later. He is currently on an official visit to Michigan State, which appears to have sealed the deal.

Jefferson also holds offers from Indiana, where he is scheduled to visit next week, Navy, Tulane, Western Michigan, and others. It is unclear whether he'll still make the trip to Bloomington.

Michigan State has 20 players currently committed for 2018. Jefferson is the third quarterback, joining four-star Theo Day and fellow three-star Javez Alexander.
