Watch: Father Of Victims Charged Larry Nassar In Court, Had To Be Restrained

An angry father attacks Larry Nassar.

CBS News

The father of three of Larry Nassar's many victims tried to take things into his own hands today.

Earlier this month, Larry Nassar was sentenced to 40-175 years in prison. He has been accused by over 150 women of sexual assault.

Nassar worked as a doctor for USA Gymnastics, as well as with Michigan State. He worked with the Spartans cross country and softball teams, and counts former MSU athletes among his victims.

Michigan State currently finds itself in turmoil in the wake of the Nassar scandal. The football and men's basketball team were recently the focus of a wide-ranging Outside The Linespiece for ESPN.

Even the NCAA could be in hot water now. Mark Emmert reportedly knew about 37 cases of sexual assault at Michigan State, long before the OTL piece.

All of this is being uncovered because of the breadth of Nassar's crimes. The disgraced former doctor appeared in court again today.

Randall Margraves, whose three daughters are all Nassar victims, was given the opportunity to address him. He wanted something more.

The father asked the judge if he could have "five minutes in a locker room with this demon" as part of the sentencing. When the judge denies him, he rushed Nassar, and had to be restrained by court officers.

Clearly they could not let him reach Nassar, because who knows what would have happened. However, there are few people out there who can blame the father, given what has happened.

Nassar must serve 60 years for child pornography, before starting the 40-175 year sentence. Suffice it to say, but his time as a free man is over.
