The Spartans’ men’s basketball team is struggling right now.
Michigan State’s men’s basketball team hit a low point on Tuesday night. The Spartans lost to Purdue, dropping their record on the season to 12-9 (4-4 in the Big Ten).
Following the game, a frustrated Tom Izzo went on a bit of a press conference rant, saying he doesn’t care what the fans think of the team right now.

Former Michigan State star Magic Johnson tweeted a message for Izzo and the Spartans earlier this evening.
I love Coach Izzo and I wish I was at MSU so I could give him a big hug and a high five! @MSU_Basketball

Izzo could use a hug right now.
