In all of the craziness following Michigan State's dramatic last second win over Michigan, people noticed that head coaches Mark Dantonio and Jim Harbaugh failed toshake hands after the game. While it was easy to assume animosity between the rival coaches, according to Mark Dantonio, it was just a case of the two not being able to link up on the field. From MLive:

"It's one of those things, you're just not there at the time, but there's no problems between myself and coach Harbaugh," Dantonio said Monday morning on WDFN. "I have the utmost respect for him. I think he's doing a tremendous job, and I think they have a good football team, a well-coached football team."

He is certainly right about that last part. Despite the brutal loss, few would have expected Michigan to be in position to beat Michigan State at all back in August.
