After going 12-2 and reaching the College Football Playoff last year, Michigan State had a letdown in 2016.
The Spartans finished just 3-9, but head coach Mark Dantonio isn't worried. In fact, he dropped a supremely confident tweet tonight.
In it, Dantonio said MSU "will rise again."
Dantonio is usually pretty reserved and stoic, so a statement like this from him is noteworthy.
Meanwhile, the team that Sparty lost to last year (Alabama), is on the verge of locking up another CFP title game appearance. The Crimson Tide leads Washington 24-7 in the fourth quarter.
