Michigan Governor Pays Off Bet, Wears Michigan State Tie
Michigan Governor Rick Snyder attended the University of Michigan, but Wednesday, he's wearing a Michigan State tie to work. Why? He lost a bet, of course.
Last week, ahead of the Wolverines vs. Spartans matchup, Snyder made a wager with Lt. Governor Brian Calley, who attended MSU. The loser, clearly, had to wear a tie of the other's alma mater.
Snyder posted a photo of himself wearing the gear, and urged Michiganders to come together to "beat Ohio State" later this year.

No, this isn't the most consequential bet we've ever seen. But at least he paid up.
