Something happened to Michigan State's players when the Spartans fell in tragic fashion to Nebraska. Something good.
Mark Dantonio's squad is back in a role they're comfortable with - the underdog, everyone's-counting-us-out role.
The "chip" is back on the shoulders of the Spartans' players, they say. They got it back after the loss to the Huskers.

Michigan State's fared pretty well as an underdog against Ohio State before. The Spartans, 13.5-point underdogs this Saturday, beat a 12-0 Ohio State team in the Big Ten Championship Game in 2013. Can they repeat that effort this weekend?
MSU and OSU are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. E.T. Saturday. The game will be televised on ABC.
