If you thought this week's depth chart would offer up some clarity on the Michigan State quarterback situation, you were mistaken.
Right now, there is no Michigan State starting quarterback. That is because the Spartans are listing Tyler O'Connor, Damion Terry and Brian Lewerke as the starter on the newest depth chart.
Yes, all three of them.
O'Connor has started all five games for the 2-3 Spartans but was pulled for Terry in last week's loss to BYU. For the year, he has connected on 78-of-128 passes for 976 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions.
Terry is 6-of-10 for 63 yards and one interception in a relief role and Lewerke is 2-for-4 for 26 yards.
Mark Dantonio clearly has not made a decision, at least publicly. It's unclear whether one will be made before the end of the week or if Dantonio will wait until Saturday to reveal his choice.
Michigan State hosts Northwestern this week at 3:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
