Last spring, when Jim Harbaugh was really starting to get going on the recruiting trail in Year 1 at Michigan, Mark Dantonio took a bit of a shot at the Wolverines.
"We’re selling results," he said. "Other people are selling hope.”
Other people, a.k.a Harbaugh and his staff, who had yet to do anything on the field. Dantonio's comment seemed to irk Jim Harbaugh's son, Jay, who's an assistant at Michigan.
That all leads to today, when Scout.com named Michigan linebackers coach Chris Partridge their National Recruiter of the Year. Jay Harbaugh used the news to troll back at Dantonio and Michigan State.
Michigan State had a better 2015 season, but Michigan won the battle of the recruiting trail. The Wolverines finished with the No. 6 class in the country, while the Spartans signed the No. 22 class.
