Not surprisingly, Michigan State's Miles Bridges is heading to the NBA Draft.

Bridges, a projected lottery pick, made the news official this morning. He'll be signing with Rich Paul, who is the agent for LeBron James, John Wall, Ben Simmons and others.

As a sophomore, Bridges averaged 17.1 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. He helped MSU win the Big Ten regular season championship.

"God couldn't have placed me in a better place these last two years," Bridges wrote on Twitter. "I wanna thank Coach Izzo and the rest of the coaching staff for giving a skinny kid from Flint a chance to play at such a legendary program."

Here is his fully statement:

The latest mock draft has Bridges going No. 13 overall to the Los Angeles Clippers.

BasketballInsiders projects him 11th to the Charlotte Hornets, while ESPN pegs him 12th to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Basically, Bridges will be a back-end lottery pick. He's expected to help a team at the next level with his outside shooting, athleticism and versatility.
