Photos: 'The Spirit Of Detroit' Is Now Wearing A Michigan State Jersey

The famous 'The Spirit Of Detroit' statue is often dressed up to support the state of Michigan's professional sports teams - including the Red Wings, Lions and the Tigers. This week, the iconic bronze landmark is getting a college-themed makeover.

To celebrate Michigan State's inclusion in the upcoming College Football Playoff, the statue will feature a white Spartans jersey until the Cotton Bowl is played. The move was made Monday morning - check it out:
