Nick Saban won a national championship at LSU and became a living legend at Alabama, but he really launched his career as a top college football coach at Michigan State. However, not all of his former Spartan players appreciate what he did in East Lansing. Former MSU and long time NFL wide receiver Plaxico Burress used the Sugar Bowl as an opportunity to take a shot at his former coach on Twitter:
The great Nick Saban told me not to leave school for the NFL, and to finish what I started. And he left before the season was over #facts #$

Saban left Michigan State shortly after the end of the 1999 regular season, just weeks before Burress would close out his college career at the Citrus Bowl with a 37-34 win over Florida. He definitely has a point, although Saban didn’t do anything different than hundreds of other coaches before and after him.
