Michigan State has a new defensive coach.
The Spartans, who lost Pat Narduzzi to Pittsburgh, are set to hire former Texas A&M defensive coordinator Mark Snyder to their staff, according to a report by FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman.
Snyder was fired by the Aggies in late Novemeber after leading Kevin Sumlin's defense for three seasons.

Snyder, 50, has a connection to Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio. The two coaches spent three seasons together on Ohio State's staff from 2001-03, when Snyder was the linebackers coach and Dantonio the defensive coordinator. They also coached on the same staff at Youngstown State under Jim Tressel in the early-to-mid 1990s.
