Story: This one came down to the wire at Wisconsin's Kohl center. It was another back and forth game as Michigan State closed out the first half trailing by just one point. But the Spartans proved to be the better team as the game came down the last minute. Ryan Evans made a three-pointer, making it a one point game, but it was the missed free throws by George Marshall that cost Wisconsin in the end.

Branden Dawson and Keith Appling accounted for 37 of the team's 49 points, keeping Michigan State alive throughout the game. The Spartans are now 6-1 in conference play, putting them on top of the Big Ten.
