Tuesday night, Michigan State posted an incredible come-from-behind victory, rallying from an 11-point deficit to knock off Kansas in the Champions Classic. The main reason? Senior guard Denzel Valentine went off, posting a triple-double with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. After the game, head coach Tom Izzo summed up Valentine's night in four short words.

“There’s a million things he’s not good enough at, but winning is something he’s good enough at,” said MSU coach Tom Izzo, who went on to praise Valentine’s work ethic and basketball IQ as other areas in which he excels, before adding, “Thank God he’s mine.”
Valentine has been a solid player for the Spartans the past few years, but if Tuesday night is any indication, he might be hitting a new level in 2015-2016. Michigan State is off to a great start.
