Tom Izzo Said Michigan State Commit Cassius Winston Is "Best High School Passer" He's Seen Since Magic Johnson

Michigan State fans should be very excited about the commitment their program got today from Cassius Winston. The 2016 four-star point guard is a top-30 player in his class and his pledge gives the Spartans one of the top-three classes in the country.

MSU fans are going to be even more thrilled about Winston when they read the following quote.

According to 247 Sports' Mike Wilson, Tom Izzo told Winston's high school coach, Patrick Donnelly, that the 6-foot-2, 194-pound point guard is the best high school passer he's seen since Magic Johnson.

Magic is just the greatest player in the history of the Michigan State men's basketball program.

No pressure, Cassius.
