Last week, Michigan State held a public memorial for Lacey Holsworth, the eight-year-old who famously befriended Spartan star Adreian Payne before losing her courageous battle with cancer April 8. Today, a full video of the memorial was published. It's more than an hour and a half long, but certainly worth watching.
Highlights of the video include:
Earlier in the month, Michigan State students painted a rock on campus in Lacey's honor. The rock was reportedly painted over today with a message of, "Congratulations seniors. Be a hero to someone." Lacey's legacy clearly will live on through the thousands of people she touched.
