Michigan State RB L.J. Scott leaped over Ohio State's Gareon Conley, only to have the play called back due to penalty.

Michigan State lost to Ohio State 16-17 today, but the Spartans wouldn't have even be in the game period if it weren't for the heroics of L.J. Scott, who put the entire team on his back.

I mean, look at this:

Here's another angle:

And here's another, just for good measure:

Scott ravaged what was supposed to be a stout Ohio State defense, despite the Buckeyes stacking the box on every other play. He led the Spartans in rushing and receiving, recording 160 yards on 19 carries and 76 through the air. He had both Spartan touchdowns.

The play was called back because the Spartans had too many men on the field, but whatever, you can't take that hurdle away. The play, penalty included, is a great summary of how the game went, actually. Despite Scott almost willing his team to victory, it just wasn't enough to counteract the numerous mistakes made by the Spartans.
