2014 March Madness: Michigan vs. Kentucky – Game Time, TV Schedule, Announcers, Line, Predictions

The first two games in Indianapolis were epic, and the Midwest Region final promises to be more of the same. In the early game, Michigan avoided near disaster against Tennessee, who they led by double-digits for much of the game, while Kentucky was on the other end of things, staging a strong comeback to beat archrival Louisville. Michigan looks to return to a second straight Final Four, while Kentucky will try to advance and keep hopes for a second National Championship in three years.

Prediction: Michigan has exceeded expectations all season, while Kentucky fell short for most of the year, by most of Big Blue Nation's wild 40-0 aspirations. However, as we learn so often, the NCAA Tournament is about who is playing the best in March and April. Michigan is a great club, but it is becoming apparent that John Calipari's fabled "tweak" seems to be taking serious effect down the stretch here. Michigan can absolutely win this won, but they'll need another spectacular effort from Jordan Morgan, as he will have to deal with not only Julius Randle, but Dakari Johnson, who is coming on very strong. Between Randle, Johnson, and the Harrison twins, who have been playing inspired basketball as well, I believe that Kentucky will keep it rolling, and will return to the Final Four for a showdown with either Arizona or Wisconsin.
