One of the top offensive tackles in the Class of 2020, Zak Zinter owns offers from across the country. After making several visits over the past few months, he has finally made his decision.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Zinter announced that he will be committing to Michigan. The announcement comes after having visited several Big Ten giants including Penn State and Ohio State.
Zinter is a four-star prospect ranked No. 217 in the nation by 247Sports. He is the No. 21 offensive tackle in the country, and the No. 2 prospect from the state of Massachusetts.
The 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive tackle is the highest-rated player in Michigan’s 2020 recruiting class to date.

With Zinter now in the fray, Michigan has seven players in its Class of 2020 – four of which are four-star prospects.
Penn State, Ohio State, Northwestern, and Iowa all boast larger recruiting classes at this stage in the process. Still, there is still plenty of time for Michigan to find some diamonds to add to Jim Harbaugh’s latest crop of players.
The Wolverines boast the best recruiting class in the Big Ten for the Class of 2019, so clearly the team isn’t having any major issues getting through the door.
