4-Star QB Messiah DeWeaver Announces Decommitment From Michigan

Just a few days after adding four-star quarterback Zach Gentry to its 2015 class, Michigan has lost one of the signal callers that had committed to the previous coaching staff. Messiah DeWeaver, who pledged to Brady Hoke and the Wolverines back in June and is a member of the 2016 class, announced his decommitment from the school via Twitter.

With the departure of Hoke and his main recruiter Doug Nussmeier, it makes sense that DeWeaver would test his other options ahead of his senior season. In December he picked up an offer from Michigan State, and met with Kentucky coaches during an in-home visit.
